07.05.2024: Der Dienstag soll laut dem Wetterbericht endlich der letzte Regentag gewesen sein und tatsächlich blieb es den ganzen Tag über ziemlich trocken, wobei jedoch ein sehr kalter Wind immer noch warme Kleidung nötig machte. Also war ein weiterer Besuchstag mit "Indoor" Aktivitäten nötig. Zum Glück habe ich von Terry von der Evening Tour den Tipp erhalten, den HiKR Ground in Seoul zu besuchen. Der HiKR Ground ist ein Touristeninformations- und Kulturzentrum in Seoul. Es wurde 2022 eröffnet und ist das öffentliche Aushängeschild der Korea Tourism Organization mit einem 4-stöckigen interaktiven Zentrum mit einem K-Pop-Museum und mehrsprachigen Informationsschaltern. In diesem Jahr ist das "Welcome Seoul" Jahr und entsprechend viel konnte man auf den fünf Stockwerken erleben. Die bunten Farben waren ein prima Gegensatz zum kalten Wind und Regengrau.
Daneben gibt es einfach Orte, die mich immer wieder magisch anziehen. Dazu gehört definitiv einfach die Starfield Library in der COEX-Mall, in der ich dieses Mal zwei Stunden verbracht, gelesen und gearbeitet habe.
Das Gimbap auf dem Heimweg war die perfekte Verpflegung für den heutigen Tag, wobei ich besonders stolz darauf war, komplett auf Koreanisch bestellen und bezahlen zu können.
07.05.2024: Tuesday was due to the weather forecast hopefully the last rainy day in Seoul. And in fact it was dry outside after breakfast but a chilly strong wind demanded warm clothing again. So I had to pass another day with indoor acitivities. Thank god Terry (from evening tour) gave me the hint to visit the HiKR Ground in Seoul. This is a Tourist- and Cultural-Informationcenter founded in 2022 and it is "THE PLACE" of the Korea Tourism Organization. It provides a K-Pop-Museum and several interactive exhibitions and infromations desks in several languages. As this year is announced as "Welcome Seoul year" there is much to discover on the five floors and the beautiful colors werde good against the gray color of the "rain blues".
Later on I went to a place that is very special and attracts me with its vibes every time I am in Seoul. Such a plave is the Starfield Library in Seoul and this time I spent two hours with reading, watching the scene and working in this beautiful place.
Finally the Gimbap on the way home completed my day in Seoul wonderfully and delicious. I was quite proud that I was able to mange the order and the payment kompletely in Korean language.
