2.9.23: Ein strahlender Sommertag lädt an den Han River und ins Kimchi-Museum ein
Da es sehr warm zu werden schien bin ich heute schon früh an den Han River aufgebrochen, um die mitten im Fluss liegende Insel Nodeul Seom Island zu besuchen. Die künstlich angelegte Insel ist ein wunderbarer Ausflugsort und wird für viele kulturelle Veranstaltungen genutzt. Sie bietet schattige Picknickplätze und eine tolle Aussicht auf die City.
Ein "Muss" war auch der Besuch im Kimchi-Museum, wo ich mir tolle Tipps von der Museums-Leiterin für mein nächstes, selbstgemachtes Kimchi geholt habe und am Ende ein kleines Tasting hatte. Den Tag habe ich dann mit dem inoffiziellen Nationalgetränk hier beendet: einem großen Becher "Iced Americano".

2.9.23: A bright, sunny day invites to Han River an to a visit at the Kimchi Museum
As it was going to be a hot and sunny day I left hostel quite early in the morning for a visit at Han River to go to Nodeoul Seom Island. This artifical island is situated in the middle of the river and is used for many cultural events. It also offers shady places for picknick witgh familiy and friends and offers stunning views on the citiy of Seoul.
Of course I had to visit the Kimchi Museum to search for some really useful tipps for my next preparation of Kimchi at home in Germany again and to finish the visit with a little tasting. I already made it once and it really tasted like in Seoul.
I finished the day with a big mug of the "inofficial national drink" here: A big cup of "Iced Amreicano".
