Der Morgen des 5. Tags in Seoul hat mit strahlendem Sonnenschein und blauem Himmel gegrüßt. Ein perfekter Tag, um noch einmal den Seoul Tower auf dem Namsan Berg in Angriff zu nehmen.
Zuerst bin ich aber erneut einmal mit der U-Bahn quer durch die Stadt gefahren, um das Bukchon Hanok Dorf zu besuchen. Das Dorf gibt es bereits seit der Joeson-Dynastie (ab ca. 1392) und wird nach einer umfassenden Sanierung 2001 bis heute von Leuten bewohnt. Man kann dort die Essenz der koreanischen Kultur spüren und hat zudem einen tollen Ausblick nach Seoul.
Zum Lunch hab es dann auf dem Namsan-Markt endlich Hoetoek. Dies ist eine Art gefüllter Pfannkuchen aus einem besonderen Hefeteig. Es ist ein beliebter Imbiss in Südkorea, den es in süßen Varianten aber auch mit Glasnudeln und Gemüse gefüllt gibt.
So gestärkt konnte ich mit dem Bus einen weiteren Besuch des Seoul Towers auf 138 m starten. Durch das klare und sonnige Wetter war der Blick traumhaft und Seoul hat mich wohl endgültig für sich gewonnen. :-)
No clouds and sunny weather...
The fifth day in Seoul started promising. A perfect day to try to go on topp of Seoul Tower on Namsan Mountain again.
Early in morning I crossed the citiy again with the sub to visit the Bukchon Hanok village. It was foundes during the Joeson Dynastie (about 1392) and after extensive renovation it is still inhabited with people. You can experience the korean way of living and the spirit on first hand and by walking through the narrow streets. Over all you are able to enjoy a beautiful view on Seoul citiy.
Back in Seoul I visited the Namsan Market to eat "Hoetoek" for lunch. It is a kind of filled pancake made of a chewy yeast dough in sweet or spicy variations. Mine was stuffed with glassnoodles and vegetables.
Strengthened after lunch I startet mountening Namsan Mountain again by bus to visit the topp of Seoul Tower in 138 m height. As weather has been clear and sunny the view was breathtaking and Seoul citiy made me definitivly fall in love to come back one day :-)
